Practice Update

As many of you may have noticed, the past few months there have been no group classes offered for childbirth or breastfeeding education. At this time I have decided to take a short pause in offering these services. As a mom of three small children, a wife of a husband with a very demanding schedule and a nurse still working in the hospital and teaching in the hospital where I work, it was just time to re-prioritize my life and put the most important things back on the top of my list.

That being said I remain very passionate about childbirth and breastfeeding education. I am still available for a limited number of private sessions each month. If you would like to set up a private education session, please email me at anytime at You can also leave a message at 732-460-1300 x 302 and I will return your call as soon as possible.

Coleen Markey, LCSW is still accepting clients seeking treatment for clinical situations such as prenatal and postpartum adjustment, anxiety and depression, perinatal bereavement and couples counseling. Please reach out to her by call 732-460-1300 x 303.

I do anticipate starting to offer group classes again in the fall and Coleen is continuing to offer groups on a monthly basis so please continue to follow our Facebook page and pass our name along to anyone whom may benefit from our services : )

All the Best,

Christy Abrams, RNC-OB, CCB, CLC
